We get churches over the hump so they can minister to more people in better ways.
The GO Center is an innovative nonprofit that works with church leaders who are hungry to develop their pastoral skills, lead a healthy church, or find the right pastor to lead them into their next season.
Our work is based on 25 years of research and practice by our Founder and Executive Director, Rev. Dr. Ken Priddy. We have successfully worked alongside hundreds of churches and pastors in multiple countries, providing deep support for their efforts to revitalize and increase leadership capacity.
Much of our work is with small to medium-sized churches, which are often underfunded.
We established a 50/50 grant program to help cover the costs of revitalization and of increasing the leadership capacity of these churches.
Our donors deeply love the local church and believe it is important for it to flourish. They believe our processes give these churches the best chance to thrive and to pass the faith to the next generation.
Your financial gift paves the way for small to medium-sized churches to participate so they can become stronger and healthier. Through our process, they will be spiritually renewed and will develop the skills to go and make disciples. They will minister through the congregation, not just to the congregation. Because of their strategic outreach, new disciples will have a healthy church home in which to grow deeply in their faith and develop the skills to reach out and share it.
We accept one-time and recurring cash gifts through PayPal and non-cash gifts through the National Christian Foundation.
Our relationship with the National Christian Foundation allows us to accept non-cash assets, including:
• Appreciated securities — stocks, bonds, and mutual funds
• Business interests — ownership in closely held businesses
• Real estate — land, homes, or other property
• Personal property — royalties, copyrights, patents, or precious metals or jewels
• IRA required minimum distributions
One of our donors gave a portion of her appreciated stock. She avoided capital gains tax and can deduct the full amount of her gift. Not only was she able to help churches, but she did not have to write a check to do it.
