The Established Pastor Field Manual

Advanced Pastoral Training

Welcome

We are glad you are here and hope that our approach will bless you. As you poke around, let’s us know when questions arise. We are happy to answer them.

Our Approach

We use our Five Seasons of a Healthy Church as framework to organize our approach and our Training Model to develop or reinforce your skill.

We have inserted processes and tools inside this framework to create a robust training manual for established pastors. Doctrinal-level research and 25 years of practice back the processes and tools you will use. We routinely update them as we learn from pastors.

Bottom line: We take the guesswork out of how to advance your skills to lead a healthy church. If you are willing to play Simon Says, you will dramatically increase your odds of creating a healthy church.

Meet The Creators

Rev. Dr. Ken Priddy, PhD and DMin, the Founder and Executive Director of The GO Center. He spent tens of thousands of hours in research and practice developing these over the last 25 years. Hundreds of churches in 15 denominations across six countries have benefited from these. So have his students in eight seminaries where he has taught over the years.
He has lead a revitalization effort from seven people to growing to over 350 in seven years while helping people come to know Jesus and help them grow in the faith. He has also served as a Transitional Pastor charged with setting up the next pastor for success by implementing healthy church practices.
Meet David our Lead for Pastoral Search

Rev. David Zook played both leading and supporting roles in planting four churches in his 22 years of ministry. Three of the four plants launched are still producing fruit. The youngest is 10 years old while the oldest is over 20. He has served as a board member of a church planting network.

He has also led two revitalization efforts. He implemented a plan that caused 90% of the congregation to grow significantly closer to God year-over-year while their mobilizing people and strengthening their leadership. This poised them to combine with a church in the area to create a multi-generational who loved the community. While at the second church, he implemented a plan to mobilize people and increase the leadership capacity of the church so they could minister to more people in better ways. The result was that within two years 40% of the congregation to grew closer to God while it experienced a 50% growth rate.

His experience as a practitioner has been invaluable in the design and implementation of the curriculum.

THE INGREDIENTS OF A HIGH-IMPACT PASTOR
